A is for Art & Poetry.

Here is another poem:

He wishes for the Cloths of Heaven
by William Butler Yeats

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

I like that poem, another possible plate. The art is by N from several months ago. I'm going to make iSpy quilts for Christmas -- no relation to iPhones, iPods or any other iTems. I am thinking of embroidering the drawing onto a square for his quilt. A bit grim, but there you have it. He'd love it. I love his drawings. Pretty deep for a 7 year old.

M is for Matchbooks & ASL...

People often wonder and even are critical about why we do/do not use sign language. Hmmm. It has a lot more to do with how many hours there are in a day than personal opinions about sign language, which we think is cool--as a language, not only a culture.

Spotted this on DesignMom. It is JK Keller.
